    Hi folks,

So on my site about a year ago i had Buddypress and bbpress installed on my site but recently decided to remove buddypress and keep bbpress. The only issue is that i’m not sure which database tables to delete below! I know that bbpress and buddypress are kinda related so don;t want to mess up bbress.

    wp_bp_follow
    wp_bp_friends
    wp_bp_groups
    wp_bp_groups_groupmeta
    wp_bp_groups_members
    wp_bp_notifications
    wp_bp_notifications_meta
    wp_bp_xprofile_data
    wp_bp_xprofile_fields
    wp_bp_xprofile_groups
    wp_bp_xprofile_meta

You could deactivate BuddyPress and leave the tables in the database without any problems. If you do choose to remove the tables, take a look at the BuddyPress Database Diagram which might be helpful.

I’m not sure which ones to delete as i don’t use buddypress anymore only bbpress. I deleted the buddypress plugin months ago.

Use phpmyadmin to create a backup of the whole database.
Then delete any table that has _bp_ in its name.
Test – if there is a problem, restore the database.
