“Please do not leave the comment area blank”

I’m doing some testing and leaving a comment on a member profile wall. I can leave a primary comment without any problems, but when I try to reply to an existing/primary comment, I get the error message – “please do not leave the comment area blank”, even though thee is obviously text in the comment area. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I’m hoping it’s a known issue and someone knows a very simple tweak I can make. FYI – I created a new primary comment and tried to replay to that one, and it worked ok. Then I went back to the first one that was having the problem and tried to reply to that one again, and I’m still getting the same error, so apparently the error happens sometimes but not every time.

@aubreyw You can check errors inside your browser console to debug the possible issue, might be some js error inside the console.
To open the dedicated Console panel, either:
Press Ctrl+Shift+J (Windows / Linux) or Cmd+Opt+J (Mac).
If DevTools is already open, press the Console button.
