    Hello,
    as I was able to read several fellows have the same problem as I do – new rregistered members are forced to chabge or/and upload a picture “Please upload your profile photo to start using this site.” otherwise they can not succeed.

    There have been 2 topics in here and none of them provide a satisfying solution.

    I do not run multiside nor the ominous plugin called “/bp-force-profile-photo/”
    It is NOT caused by template or other plugins as I have the same issue when every Plugin nonrelated to buddypress are deactivated.
    It would be supercool to have this issue solved 🙂

    @axcelluloid You can filter inside BuddyPress Strings, it’s not inside BuddyPress codes
    You can also search via Find in folder approach for BuddyPress plugin
    https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/buddypress/stable/en-gb/default

    By Default, BuddyPress only need account activation via email to start using the site.
    “Please upload your profile photo to start using this site.” must be coming from your theme or any 3rd party code.

    This is not a feature of BuddyPress, there must be something in your setup that is requiring this, in other words you must have specific code that is requiring this as far as I’m aware.
