Plugin Idea – Filterable Activity Widget

    Here’s a good idea for a plugin. Create an activity widget that allows site admins to set filters using the widget options.

    This would allow people to create an activity widget showing latest activity for a group, or latest activity for authors of a blog, or latest activity for just about anything. It could be just for displaying information, not posting. It could also be multi-instance so site admins could build listings of different types of information.

    The filters are all there in the code – you would just need to map these to the widget controls.

    I think this would be super popular and useful.
