/?p=N permalinks links no longer work on BuddyPress 1.5

Howdy – I am running BP 1.5.1 on a DEV environment. I found that the permalinks links I use on pages, using the WP link syntax (http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks) no longer work.
Is this a BP 1.5 issue? Thanks!
Example:
`Page_Title` – link does not workEntering this into the URL address bar of browser, does not work either:
http://example.com/?p=N(N = page ID of an exiting page)
