I’m using WP3.5 and BP1.8.

Problem:
Status updates are either updating really slowly or not updating at all.

Scenario:
When user goes to their profile/activity or to a group to enter a status, the post update will take a minimum of 4 seconds to show up in the timeline. From the same screen, if the user tries to update with a second status the update won’t post at all – the user has to click away from the screen and back again to make the update.

I’m new to BP and although it seems great, this is unfortunately a bit of a deal breaker for using it! Can anyone shed any light on what might be the problem?
