Problem uploading pictures

Hi y’all!

I am using WP 3.1 and BP 1.2.8 with the plugin BPalbum+. I constantly get an error trying to upload pictures either avatar or album pictures.

The thing wines “Please upload only JPG, GIF or PNG photos.”

All my pictures are or PNG or JPEG (jpg, jpeg) Can anyone please help me with this?

No fix yet but more information here. Do not rewrite your code as one of the posters is suggesing. Hold tight for an official fix. Sounds like it could be a while before the makers of the plug-in manage to wade through all the new code though.
