hello sir my site is on localhost.when a new user create an account and complete sign up process.a message comes you have created your account an activation link will be sent on your mail id but actually there was no link on that particular emailid.please reply very soon.
wordpress version 3.5.2 and i am using buddypress 1.7.3 plugin in my site.
localhost/wordpresss.

You need to give more details. Have you setup your localhost to send out real emails? Are you saying there was an email received? Be clear, consistent, and specific! Include your install info etc.!

i want to say that when a new user create an account there is no activation link on mail-id.when new user login into wordpress this message comes:”Your account has not been activated. Check your email for the activation link.” but there is no activation link given on mail-id .please guide me .i am using wordpress 3.5.2 and buddypress plugin 1.7.3.
I hope that you has understood my problem.
