problem with automatic links in profile to twitter and how to edit @mention user id

hi,

having some issues with bp putting auto links on profile to twitter, specifically @mention part – http://new.progressivetalks.com/members/jakewhitehead/

why is this and how can i control it?

Also is it possible to edit the@ mention id?
