problem with basic formatting of buddypress menu

    Hi, I’m trying to use buddypress as a plugin on a wordpress site using the ReviewIt Theme. When I activate buddypress I get the menu (login//signup/visit etc) as messy text links in the footer of my page rather than as a neat menu bar at the top of the screen

    any suggestions? I’m probably missing something obvious :)

    If you use a non BuddyPress theme then you need to do a little more work search for BuddyPress template pack plugin. Install and follow directions. This will move some extra theme files into your WordPress theme and include the necessary functions and JavaScript to run BuddyPress
