Problems with "Order"-Reload

Hey guys,

I am using WordPress 3.5.1 and Buddypress 1.7.1 and I got the following problem:

Everywhere on the site, where someone can chose a point out of a dropdown, to sort the activity (for example), nothing happens – the site just won’t reload.

Does anyone knows the problem and can help?

What theme are you using?

We use a self written theme.

@julianwagner might be a JS conflict. To double-check, change to Twenty Twelve theme or BP Default theme and check if issue is resolved.

@mercime you’re absolutely right. seems to be a js problem. how do I fix it?
