Hi there!

I’ve been talking about this problem before and now I know what to ask:

I’m using the latest of WPMU and BP trunk.

I’m using a primary blog with a WP-only theme as a splash-page. I’m using a secondary blog (not at root) + BP for registered users. In the secondary blog I’ve got everything working with my own theme for 1.1. When I’m using this setup the forums directory doesn’t show (but it shows forums in groups just fine). The dircetory only shows when I put the theme from BP inside the primary WP-blog.

Can I somehow point the forums directory to the secondary blog only? I’ve set the default blog to ID = 2 in bb-config.php but that doesn’t work. Is there any other way?

This only happens for the forums directory (www.website.com/forums) and not forums in groups. All the other pages in BP works just fine.

I don’t know, but for me it looks like this could be the same error I have with the forum directory.

I posted my question hire, but no replay till now.

Perhaps that’s a similar problem. But your directory page shows (as far as I understand) and mine doesn’t.

2. Did you install WPMU as a directory or subdomain install?

No, the latest.

5. Was WPMU functioning properly before installing/upgrading BuddyPress?

Works okay.

6. Which version of BuddyPress (BP) are you running?

Trunk (1.2.x)

7. Did you upgraded from a previous version of BP? If so, from which version?

1.1.1

8. Do you have any plugins other than BuddyPress installed and activated?

Yes, they don’t interfere with the problem above although.

9. Are you using the standard BuddyPress themes or customized themes?

Customized.

10. Have you modified the core files in any way?

No.

11. Do you have any custom functions in bp-custom.php?

Yes, remove the adminbar.

12. If running bbPress, which version? Or did your BuddyPress install come with a copy of bbPress built-in?

Built-in.

13. Please provide a list of any errors in your server’s log files.

I never solved this and others seem to have the same kind of problem. I’ll try to rework the whole website so that I don’t need a primary blog.
