Quote marks acting strangely

Hello,

I have a simple problem with quote marks. When you write something between ” and ” , and then you post it, it appears as »WORD» instead of «WORD».

Is there anyone who can help me?

Hm. Have you configured your site to use a specific charset/character encoding?

my sql > utf8_unicode_ci,
my site > meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=UTF-8″

A french site about BBpress have the same problem : (example in this page : http://bp-fr.net/members/stephane/activity/3668/)

I know why this would occur on bbPress (i.e. within a Group Forum) but your screenshot appears to be on a regular member’s activity stream. What other plugins do you have active?

Of course BuddyPress + BuddyPress Album + BuddyPress Chat Component + BuddyPress Group Email Subscription + BuddyPress Like + BuddyPress Profile Privacy + CodeStyling Localization + CodeStyling Localization + Google XML Sitemaps + Seo for Buddypress + TDLC Birthdays + WP-FB-AutoConnect

I tried to desactive one by one. No result.
