Is it right that the Recent SiteWide Post widget shows the entire posts, ignores the <–more–> tag?

Or is this a problem with non-Roman languages?

Is there anyway to limit it to just a certain character count?

You could build an excerpt on your activity.

And I believe it ignores it, don’t think it filters for those tags.

Thank you. I have no idea what you mean but I guess that you are confirming what I suspected …

That Recent SiteWide Post widget posts only the entire posts.

It would probably be good to have some option to limit it to a certain number of characters.

This seems to actually be another language based problem. Any clues how to fix it or work around?

That is to say, it does not effect roman script language but does effect character based languages, i.e. Chinese, Japanese etc.

This may actually be a WordPress problem … again. I have encountered this in themes also.
