Redirect a user to the activity stream after posting an update

I am displaying the post form on the user profile page (e.g http://example.com/members/username)

Anyone know if there is a way to redirect a user to the activity stream on posting a status update? I’d like this sequence to happen:

1. User enters some text into the post form which is on their profile page

2. User hits “Post update”

3. User gets taken to the activity stream (e.g http://example.com/members/username/activity)

But that is the default behaviour you’re describing! /member/username defaults to the tab ‘activity’ that defaults to showing the whats-new form, that submits using Ajax to update the users stream below it.

@hugo my apologies, I should have said I am displaying the post form on user profile page “member/username/profile”.

I want a user to be able to post an update from this profile page then automatically get redirected to “member/username/activity”

Any ideas how I could achieve this?
