there used to be a plugin that did this but im not sure if it still works , you can try it

its an old plugin so i dont think it will work, maybe you could try get it fixed i dunno.
OK so I am playing around with activity-loop.php and tried this >>
<?php if ( bp_has_activities( bp_ajax_querystring( 'activity' ).'&action=activity_update,new_blog_post,new_blog_comment,new_activity_comment' ) ) : ?>
but there is no change. None of the comments for either blog or activity are displayed at the top of the activity stream. Any thoughts??
Also is there a way to refresh after xx seconds?

Thanks, I tried that plugin but no joy. I read on his page that he stopped updating several years ago. It’s actually exactly what I am looking for. I’m not a coder so fixing it isn’t an option 🙁

Hello!
I am trying to find a way to make all recent comments display at the top of the bp activity page/stream. I found one plugin called RS Buddypress Activity Refresh but that doesn’t seem to work. Well, it did the first time I installed it and then very quickly stopped. I have seen several posts complaining that nothing is out there.
Ideally a hack that refreshes all comments on posts and updates and brings them to the top of the page, and also at a certain refresh rate that can be controlled.
Can someone provide any pointers?
