Remove ’by so and so’ under avatar and remove date stamp on front page post

    Hi,
    Great software! I am not able to find where to change the code to get rid of the date stamp on posts and under avatars. I found a couple of instances of ‘by’ where I could get rid of the info on the single posts page, but it was still there on the front page. And I want to remove the date as well from the front page.

    Any suggestions?

    PS am using the up-to-date WP and Buddypress, just downloaded.
