Remove users from Members Directory when checking "opt out" at registration

Hi,

I am currently working on a site which gives the user the option to opt out of appearing in the members directory. I am running WordPress 3.9.2 and BudyPress 2.0.1.

I have been searching for a while now trying to solve this. I have read through articles about altering the members loop but can not find the answer I’m looking for. All I need to do is just exclude the members who have ticked that box from being listed.

Any help would be great. If you need anymore info, let me know!
