Hello,

I have inherited a site that is showing a list of groups using the groups component which has a wordpress page associated with it:

Groups == Our Clubs (page title)

The page is reached by menu:

About us -> Our Clubs

The page has been titled “Our Clubs” and the breadcrumb should read “Home > Our Clubs”

However the component renames both of those to “Groups” even though the page is set to “Our Clubs”

Is there a way to make buddypress not override the page title? Presumably the point of setting a custom page is for this precise reason. Also it would be good if the solution could survive future upgrades.

For people reading this, it’s not the slug, entire component or other group pages I’m looking to rename (as has been posted elsewhere) just don’t want my custom page overwritten.
