Repair total members count not working

    My member numbers since the recent upgrade are wrong. I have tried the Repair total members count tool and it’s had no effect. I have no caching software installed and I have tried using a different theme.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Regarding the above. I started the website from scratch as I couldn’t find a way around this. And same thing has happened. I have no plugins installed apart from BuddyPress, MyCred & Backup Buddy… I have 79 users and BuddyPress is reporting something like 250. This is driving me nuts…

    Any help very much appreciated.

    So, the time for help on this has passed. But just to mention it seemed to be something in the activity part of the database that was confusing the members count. I made a new website and copied over the users, groups & friends. I left out the activity and turned it off in BuddyPress. The members count is now correct but still at a complete loss as to what happened and how to fix it. Plus side is we have a working site minus the activity.
