Reply to reply has no notification

    On the activity feed, a comment on an activity sends a notification to the original user, but a reply to that reply sends no notification to the one who replied.

    Example:
    User A posts: “I’m looking for X”
    User B replies: “I have X”

    User A gets a notification that B has replied.
    User A replies to User B’s comment: “Thank you, I’ll take that”

    User B is not notified about the reply.

    How do I set up such a notification?

    If it’s a custom set up, what sort of posts should I be targeting?

    Hi there,

    That’s not what I’m seeing. In my case when user A replies to user B, user B gets a notification. So it looks like something is preventing this notification from getting through.

    Hi @venutius thanks for the reply, it looks like the issue was with my theme. It’s templates for buddypress seem to be riddled with issues!
