I still have formatting issues that needs dealing with (avatars resizing, for example), so please try not to be distracted by the sloppiness!

There was a report here about a security plugin interfering with forum replies. If you don’t have one, deactivate plugins except BuddyPress and see if issue is resolved. Then activate plugins one by one to see which one is messing up with commenting.

Nope. I deactivated all plugins except for BuddyPress & the Template pack. Still no luck with the comments. Just goes to the top of the screen when clicked.
