i wrote an experimental plugin that will replace (or tack on) activity comments to a blog post – (only tested it on the main blog)

Hmm seems like a huge design flaw to me to have these activity streams that are so disconnected from the rest of the site…
I was thinking about doing something like this. Activity stream comments will create a corresponding blog comment / forum post and vice versa.
I think it’s possible, but there’s also the potential for problems to occur.
For example, someone replies from the activity stream at the same time as someone replying from the blog post.
@etiviti interesting plug-in – does it work on wp 3.0? ?
@etiviti ~ do u know if your plug-in for comments on blog post to show up on blog will work with wp 3.0? ~
Gratitude for your great work on these plug-ins
@etiviti ~ do u know if your plug-in for comments on blog post to show up on blog will work with wp 3.0? ~ OR does something need to be done to make that happen? If so, do you know what would need to change?
Gratitude for your great work on these plug-ins
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this – our site is very “activity-stream-centric”. We emphasize the activity stream. Blog posts show up in the stream, as they should, but blog comments do not. Are blog comments supposed to show up in the stream? There is not even a notation that there is a comment that the visitor can click. Is this the way it’s supposed to work? If not, how can I fix it? If so… same question.
