Request to fix some basic registration issues in buddypress

Here are a few registration issues that I found with buddypress. It would be great if these could be fixed in the future versions.
a.) There is no set length for usernames. Users can get away with typing infinitely long usernames and first names.
b.) There is no validation in place which prevents users from not using spaces or special characters in their ‘username’ or ‘first names’. This can lead to various issues, some of them are as follows:
=> Users can use spaces in their ‘username’ which will then cause issues when they login.
=> Users can use spaces in the ‘first name’ which later leads to a 404 page when they logout.
c.) There is no system in place to tell the user to use a strong password. Users can get away with typing a one word password which is a security flaw.
Btw, are there currently any easy workarounds to fix these?
