[Resolved] after last bp update all users profile pages show me a 404 error + I can’t use any home p

I have update my BP to last version. Now I ma having the following two main problems:
1. All members profile pages do not exist. If you click on any member name you get a 404 error, including my admin page. http://www.socialgakkai.com/admin (where admin is my user name).
2. I can’t set a up a static URL for home anymore. I want to set up the “Site Activity” page as home page but if I select the activity page on settings>reading>static page, it happens that the activity page disappear from the main menu but the home page remains the members page.
Whatever page I use as a static page the home it is always the member page.Can you please be so kind to help?

I’ve done everything at point 1 and 2 of your list.
I haven’t deactivated bp-custom.php since I never set up this file and never changed. No idea where it is or if it exists. But I don’t think so since I suppose this is a file you manually set up and I didn’tNow I am running WP only with BP plugin using BP-default them having reset the permalinks. Now luck!
