[Resolved] Associate a WordPress Page with each BuddyPress component directory issue

    Wordpress: 3.3.1
    bbPress : 2.0.2
    BuddyPress: 1.5.4

I went through all the CODEX to install WP, bbPress and BP and the wizard and everything seems to run just fine except for this…

I have a message that says “The following active BuddyPress Components do not have associated WordPress Pages: Discussion Forums. Repair” I know that this is because in the BuddyPress > Pages screen under Directories I have the Discussion Forums set to “- None -“. When I have that set to “Forums” I get an error that says “The forums component has not been set up yet.”

I’ve read several posts that simply redirect me to the same CODEX and and wizard steps. If anyone has any other ideas I’d appreciate it.

FYI: using Site wide forums and all defaults and the buddypress default theme.

@subway1968 If you do not need Group Forums, you can go to dashboard menu BuddyPress > Components and deactivate (uncheck) “Discussion Forums”

That took care of the issue. I was confusing the current bbPress forum with the BP forum. Thanks for the reply.
