Hey! I’m using wordpress 3.4.1 with the theme ‘backstreet’ everything looks ok except for the fact that the sidebar on buddypress pages is at the bottom. Thinking it’s a width issue but I have no idea. Here it is: http://www.homegrownshow.tv/blog2/members/admin/

Please help me before I go insane :(

@jaymeselman Open up your theme’s header.php file, copy all source, paste in pastebin.com, click submit, and post the generated URI here. Do the same for your theme’s index.php, page.php, sidebar.php and footer.php files.

@jaymeselman based on the HTML structure of your theme, you only need to create two files, header-buddypress.php and sidebar-buddypress.php

Having said that, you have two options. either
    a) all pages full-width
    b) all pages with sidebar

    (a) or (b)?

@jaymeselman Note: If you’ve revised any of the BP template files transferred to your backstreet theme folder in server during the BP Compatibility process, please delete those 6 BP folders transferred to your theme folder in server – /activity, /blogs, /forums, /members, /groups, /register – then re-run Appearance > BP Compatibility again to make sure that you have clean template files.

Hey @mercime I’m getting an error regarding the buddy header, it reads

“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in your code”

I posted the pastebin of the code:

ok, I have revised the code above to right sidebar only. Delete old header-buddypress.php and sidebar-buddypress.php and add code posted above.

Note that in the revised instruction, you do not create a blank sidebar-buddypress.php file but copy the sidebar.php file and Save As > sidebar-buddypress.php then follow instructions above.
