[Resolved] Missing Join Group button in list view

Okay, continuing my post from yesterday, I’ve found that the buttons are available, but for the life of me, I don’t know where the code is in the default template (surrounded by a div ID of “generic-button group-button public”). I think I’ve gone through every php file but I’m sure I’ve missed it somewhere. I’m ALMOST there and all I need is just the code calling for the join button and where in the template it goes… and I’m done.

All I want for christmas is help with this issue lol! Thanks guys

starts with bp_group_join_button https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/1.5.1/bp-groups/bp-groups-template.php#L1507

shows up via bp_directory_groups_actions in https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/1.5.1/bp-themes/bp-default/groups/groups-loop.php#L57

@mercime Thanks. I’m looking into it now. Looking at the groups-loop on the theme I’m using seems like it’s calling for it properly, but it’s still not showing. Will report back once I find out the issue. Hopefully it’ll help someone else.

Edit: Looks like the “group-loops” are the exact same on the theme and the default theme. So I would assume that the issue is having the theme reference the default?

VERY simple solution once @mercime helped. All that was needed was this added:

Instead of this:
