[Resolved] Multi-site, multi-network (Is there any way for this to be done)
-
Ok, so here is what I would like to do, and I’m not sure if it is possible with any existing plugins. I have set up a wordpress multi-site network. I would like to be able to set up a bunch of subsites, some that have buddypress, and some that don’t. Each subnetwork would have its own content that doesn’t show up on other sites.
So, basically, someone would come to my site [example, com] and they would sign up for [example, com] login. This login would then allow them to, for example join the [example,com/kittens] network for kitten enthusiasts (just an example, haha). They also would maybe want to join [example,com/deathmetal] which is it’s own network. They could use the same login for both of those sites, but the content they posted on the kitten site would not show up on the death metal site and vice versa. They could then also use this login to post comments on [example,com/money] which is not a buddypress site, but still a subsite of [example, com].
The problem I am running into now is that I have multiple sites set up, but it seems that buddypress is installed on them all and content posted on a subsite is posted on all the sites.
Any help at all would be appreciated.
