[Resolved] Two problems: One serious, one wierd!

  • The serious issue is that the different tabs on the Activity page that shows updates from friends, groups, favorites and mentions no longer work. Clicking any of them simply shows the animation that it’s loading but nothing happens. If i however click on any of them and then refresh the page, the page shows that activity feed properly. But then i can’t switch back to the main feed without clicking on its tab and refreshing the page again.

The weird issue, which possibly is what is causing the serious one, is that a zero has snuck in under the list-item tag under every single update and comment showing up in all activity feeds, but seemingly only from the actual ajax-funtionality. Once you refresh the page, the zero goes away and it looks normal. I’m pretty certain i haven’t messed about with any of the ajax files since i know nothing about its code.

Here’s the little information i have on the matter:

WP/BP versions? Did you recently update BP/WP?

Looks more like a theme issue. Change to bp-default theme and check if issue is resolved.

Oh yeah sorry. 3.3.1 and 1.5.5. Had the problem since 1.5.4 some time.

What theme were you using? Was issue resolved when you changed to bp-default theme?

It was resolved but there were other serious issues with the default theme. Lots of images in the design were simply not loading, so the website looked only half done.

However, i simply deactivated and re-activated all plugins one by one and none of the two problems returned, oddly. So i have no idea what caused the problem.
