I would like to ask you if possible create a new role to enable some users to moderate activity, profiles and groups, without giving them access to the admin panel, similar to bbpress forum plugin.

I think it would be useful to keep the community clean.

I don’t there is anything that matches exactly what you are after but the above thread lists plugins for reporting if that is any use.

My Report Stuff project might scratch that itch as it matures. The idea is to allow all users to report, well, stuff – user accounts, content, etc.. I hope to end up with some degree of what you are asking for such that “moderators” would have a limit set of options they could apply including escalating the issue.

We’re still in the planning stage but you are welcome to join us.
