RSS-feed content via Profile field RSS-url?

Hi,

1) I’m looking for ways to let members show Goodreads books in their profile. I was wondering if it was possible to create an extended profile field for a Goodreads ‘currently reading’ rss-link and have it display the content in the member profile?

2) Or even better, but far more workextensive, I know: How about a “Buddypress Book Club plugin” – book stuff and book shelves in your member profile and review and recommendation functions – something like Goodreads?

Do you know if Goodreads has an API? That would make option 2 easier for you if you decided to go down that route.
