Safari and Chrome messed up bbpress layout

I still can’t post on bbpress.org for some reason, so I’ll give it a try here.

My bbpress forum is displayed correctly in IE and Firefox, but not in Chrome and Safari.

The problem is in your ‘table-layout: fixed’ selector.

Remove that and it sizes correctly. If you didn’t add that selector, and it’s part of the bbpress.css files for the twenty ten theme, then I’d suggest bbPress haven’t tested very thoroughly, and you should report it there as a bug

The only thing i’ve done is to replace “sidebar” with “//sidebar” in the twenty ten theme files.

As to your solution, could you be more specific as to how I resolve this issue. I’ve no idea how to remove the ‘table-layout fixed’, and by removing that won’t I then get full width on all pages?

I only need full width on the forum.
