Hi,

I have set up the “Global sitewide unified search” plugin on http://fablab-lannion.org. It is a great improvement of the native search mechanism for a WP multisite + Buddypress install, but I noticed something that seems weird to me : it seems basically BP does inhibit the search among activity of private groups, even when the user is logged-in and member of the group. I consider making a plugin that would hook a filter to modify the sql request so that activities of the users’ private groups would be displayed, but I feel this behaviour should be managed more in a cleaner way by BP. Is there a chance for this, or shall I go for a homemade plugin ?
