Semi-broken install – top bar not displaying correctly

  • Site in question:

Quick problem description: BuddyPress seems to work fine, but the top bar doesn’t display correctly, instead shows up as a text menu at the bottom of the page.

This is an under construction site that’ll later be moved to a different domain. Installed BuddyPress, and it seemed to be working perfectly, including the top nav bar. A couple hours later it broke, I believe when I upgraded WordPress to 3.0.4. Tried putting it back to 3.0.3, and it didn’t help any, so I put it back to 3.0.4 again. Really, everything seems to be working fine except the top bar, which instead displays at the bottom.

Are you using the BP template pack plugin to integrate BP with the theme? If so, make sure it’s active.

Thank you, that did it! As far as I could tell that plugin just seemed like a guide for making sure the template was BP compatible, didn’t realize it was doing more than that. Thanks!
