SEO for Member Pages

    Hi there,

    Does anyone know how to set up SEO for community member profiles? I want their bio/description to be the description meta tag. Or is there a way to manually add a description for each member. That would be a lot more time consuming but i’m desperate to find a solution because right now the menu items are showing in the description tag for members profile pages in Google.

    Have you tried WordPress SEO by Yoast?

    I want the meta-description to be taken from the members xprofile field called “about”. I don’t think Yoast has that capability?

    Anybody? This must be a common need amongst people with buddypress sites? SEO-friendly profile pages should be a priority, no?
