I am very familiar with wordpress, but brand new to BuddyPress. I am creating a community site, and I’m not 100% sure how to go about it. I have a site that will be for an organization. There will be two types of access, or “sections”. One for students, one for teachers. I want teachers to be able to access teacher only content, automatically post to a single blog section, interact with other teachers, see special education documents for teachers, etc. And then I want another completely separate section that is essentially the same but for students, not teachers.
I was wondering how I should start this off. Should I just use private groups, a third party plugin, a buddypress approved plugin?
I will have one main page with information and then a register/login page. If they register as a student, they can only see the student content but if they register as a teacher, they can only see the teacher content.
Any information on where/how to get started would be greatly appreciated.
