After auto-upgrading to the latest version of wordpress, my buddy press install does not allow people or admins to change their passwords and does not send the verification email for new users to be created. I’ve talked to my hosting company who assure me it’s a wordpress/buddypress problem. I’ve searched and searched and I can’t find anyone else who has had this problem. I’ve done a fresh install and the problem is the same every time. When a user tries to change their password, it says the password has successfully been changed but when it comes to the login screen, the old password is the one that works. When new users sign up it says it’s sent a verification email but it never gets received. This is a show-stopping problem for me, I would welcome any and all help.
