So, I’ve read the past queries and comments on getting rid of the sidebar on BuddyPress pages, but they all are relating to BuddyPress prior to 1.7 when the theme compatibility files were being used.

So, switching the page width from “default” to “full-width” doesn’t work with the BuddyPress pages. (It does work with other site pages though, so it’s not broken).

Is there a simple edit to set BuddyPress individual pages to full-width? (Not the whole site)

Setting the #sidebar to display none in the css drops the widgets out of the sidebar, but the sidebar is still there.

I’m not even sure that I want to eliminate the side bar, I just want to see if it looks cleaner without it and then decide.
