Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone knows a way of limiting the number of characters for a username during registration. I’m not using a wordpress multisite so the WPMU doesn’t work for me. Right now a username can enter a name as long or short as they want. This causes various issues, including long username messing up forum layout.

I simple want to set the minimum length to 5 and the maximum length to 10, does anyone know any way of doing so? I’m not afraid to mess with code.

I attempted to use the ‘max length’ code in the input box but that didn’t work.

Any help would be appreciated.
