CleanPrint plugin shortcode does not work in profile-loop. John is rather convinced “that defect lies in BuddyPress in how it interacts with other plug-ins and their filters. I’ve found another plug-in that exhibits the same problem as CleanPrint and I’ve yet to find a method to make it work properly without violated the WP/Plugin API.”

Not sure who this ‘john’ is to whom you keep referring 🙂 but yes he’s about right but this isn’t a defect it’s how BP provides theme compatibility in injected into page template files via the wp content function, this is run through a series of filters though and I would expect shortcodes to be stripped out.

Not really sure why you are trying to do this but it should be possible to circumvent this action and bypass the filters in a function suitably hooked.

John is one of the authors of the CleanPrint plugin who has been supporting me. I am a novice and I would not know how to bypass the filters as you have mentioned.
