Shortcode question

Hi there Guys,
I am looking for some advice please. I have install BuddyPress on to a clients website this afternoon, but I see it needs to create pages, which when done removes the design I have created using a WordPress framework theme. Is there a way of putting shortcode’s into the pages that I want BuddyPress to show up in?

Hi John,

You ever figure out a solution for this? I’ve run into the exact same issue? The only solution i can see at the moment is to install a third party plugin – http://bp-tricks.com/featured/buddypress-shortcodes-plugin/ – but thats over 2 years old now?

@richardicanie it would be better if you created a new topic for your own issue. Include information about WP/BP versions, theme used, etc. and be more specific about the elements you need to fix in your theme. Screenshots/site url welcome.
