Single group page in homepage

Hi to all, im searching a way to make a single group page the homepage of my site make with BuddyPress. I have a Multisite installation, and WordPress and BuddyPress are updated. In fact, the Group pages do not appear on the selection “static page” in the option at the back end, so, for this, i have tried more solution like embedding code, manipolated function.php of my theme for made custom post and theme for make this selectionable, but it’s very difficult and seems that there is no solution…or i can’t made it possible. There is any clear solution for my problem?
