Site Title in Admin Bar

This is a small thing, but something that’s been bugging me for a while, and I can’t figure out how to fix it.

I have my BuddyPress install as a subdomain of my main blog (using MU/3.0.2). My BuddyPress site name is something completely different than the name of my main blog. Somehow, the site name for my buddypress install is overriding the site name for my main blog in the admin bar, and I can’t figure out how or why or what to do to fix it.

Example: My main site is: mainsite.com, my BuddyPress install is buddypress.mainsite.com.
In the admin bar, under My Blogs, I have a listing for “BuddyPress” that points to > mainsite.com (#1)
and another “BuddyPress” which points to > buddypress.mainsite.com (#2)

If I update the site title for #2 under settings > general, the admin bar name for #2 changes to whatever I put in. The main site (#1) name in the bar does not change. If I update the site title for my main site, it doesn’t change anything.

What I want it to say is: #1 – Main Site and #2 – BuddyPress, so that they’re each distinct, instead of both of them being listed as “BuddyPress.” I’ve checked all the options under SuperAdmin > Sites as well and I can’t for the life of me find what other fields may need to be changed.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

Just tested this on BP 1.2.6 and your example works for me.

What version of BuddyPress are you using? This was a bug in a previous version of BP.
