Sites Tracking Directory & Blog Privacy

    @jackf

    First, thank you BuddyPress Devs and Community for the plugin(s) and all the work over the past 4 years. I have been using BuddyPress since version 1 for a private community.

    I have a site running WP 3.8 & BP 1.9.

    All of the features in BuddyPress including Activity streams are working perfectly.

    However, Sites Tracking is the only part I cannot get fully functioning the way I need it because,

    WordPress Blogs

    I really need to show all of our blogs/sites in this private BuddyPress network to display in the All Sites tab on the standard BuddyPress Sites Tracking Directory for all network users even when marked “discourage search engines…”

    Is there a workaround/hack? or a plugin recommendation? I’m looking for a scalpel, not a Swiss Army knife.

    I’ve tried several stabs at this and searched the forums and the BuddyPress blogs/sites documentation here, but have run into what appears to be a hard block or possibly a filter somewhere and I can’t find it.

    Would be grateful for a solution that restores the very useful sites directory to private BuddyPress networks.

    Thank you.
