Some of my WP site members cannot join groups, request friends, etc.

Hi,

I set up BP on an existing WP site. Some of my existing members have been able to access the full functionality of BP, while others have what I can only describe as “view only” access, i.e., they can only view groups and members, but cannot join groups, send friend requests, or send private messages.

How do I enable all members to have access to full community functionality?

Each member who has been having this problem has logged out and back into the site since BP was added.

hello , this type of situation occured with me also .. you have done setting of not sending friend request….

Check to see if the members with problems have been marked as spammers.
And whether they have a different WP role than members without problems.
