Starting with a clean install, should i…?

Hello,

I am starting a new project and like to use buddypress. Now normally i install WordPress in a separate directory (say mydomain.com/wordpress/). But in the past i read buddypress doesn’t like it when wordpress is installed in a separate directory is this still the case?

This isn’t a problem I’ve come across myself. Can you provide some links to where you’ve read about BuddyPress not liking WordPress in its own directory (as opposed to the root dir)?
