Statewide Occupy Movement Install – Need Multiple BP Subsites

Hey guys,

I’m working with the Occupy Movement to try and build a statewide community site where there can be State Level working groups as the main site but I would also need the capability of having BP Groups installed on each subsite as well so that each town / city can define their own working groups.

It would be a lot like http://www.nycga.net but at a state level.
Is this possible?

You can have only one BuddyPress installed on one blog.

Why not use the groups as each state and change groups name to states; url.com/states/ohio

Then, use this plugin to add sub groups to state groups:
https://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-group-hierarchy/

Ahh, great idea. I’m not very familiar with BP so I wasn’t sure what options I had available. Thanks for the heads up!
