Stay on the same page after login

Hi,
I have a wordpress site with buddypress plugin installed for forums.
Whenever a user logs in, he is redirected to the homepage and he has to navigate all the way back to the page he was looking at. Is there a way I can make the user to stay on the page after logging in.
