Subdomain Custom Menus – Redirecting to Main BP Site

    Hi,

I setup multisite with BuddyPress on the main site and blogs as subdomains on a multisite. As I am setting up one of the blogs, everytime I try save a Custom Menu, it takes me back to the main site on buddypress. Why is this and how can I use custom menus on the subdomain sites? I have been searching, but haven’t found something about this specifically.

    Thanks!

    Dana

Actually I can use custom menus on the subdomain sites. Check your wp-config.php, did you by any chance add `define ( ‘BP_ENABLE_MULTIBLOG’, true );` there?

No I didn’t, but do I have to if I only want BuddyPress on the main site and the rest will just be regular blogs without BP?

No, you do not add enable_multiblog at all. It just so happens some have added enable_multiblog and were surprised with the redirect to main site.

Going back to your problem, are you using the same theme your main site and subdomain sites? Or using different themes?
